Our process
A comprehensive, 120-point audit
Website
We’ll go through your website and check that you’re not breaking any of Google’s rules and that it follows best practice. We’ll also look at your site’s content and website structure to ensure you’ve got the best possible chance of ranking at the top of results, and that your site is optimized to convert customers once they get there.
Google Business Profile (GBP)
Most local SEO experts agree that your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is the one thing that most affects the local 3-pack results. We’ll spend time looking at your listings contact information, photos, categories, etc. for areas to improve and flag anything that might be against Google’s policy.
Directories & citations
Citations are anywhere your business is listed or mentioned. More specifically, we’ll be looking at online directories – both the big ones (like Yelp, Angie’s List, etc.) and industry-specific and niche sites we think your business should be on. You’d be surprised how many places your business is listed online and how inaccurate they are. These inconsistencies make Google view your site as less trustworthy.
Local link building
Without at least a few good links (other website’s linking to yours), you probably won’t rank too well. We’ll look at your backlink analysis compared to your competitors and identify any big opportunities for new links.
Online reputation & reviews
People now trust online reviews as much as they do recommendations from friends and family. We’ll look at your current reviews – where you have them and where you don’t – and give some tips on how to respond and best strategies for getting more reviews.
Social media
We’ll take a quick look at your social media profiles. They’re not the biggest factor for local SEO, but are still important to help connect with customers and maintain a presence in your community.
